For those who are still loving Dabangg kida movie, where you keep your mind aside, your wisdom is taken for granted and you are ready to accept the larger than life hero, Bullet Raja can be your type. Remember, there are no lines drawn between facts and fiction.
We except a lot from the super talented Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has earlier directed masterpieces like Paan Sing Tomar and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster where the twists are unexpected and suspense holded you tight throughtout the movie. Despite of trying well to entertain the audiences and engage them with few good dialogues and bullets shot every now and then right from the opening shot, it demands cine-goers to use your brains!
Saif and Jimmy(who is playing Rudra) both become best of friends when Saif is chased by goons and joins Jimmy’s cousin’s wedding to find a place to escape. When Saif overhears someone making plans to kill Rudra, he decides to help and save him but gets wrapped into a a bad world of political drama.
Sonakshi, as always, has nothing much to do except for looking beautiful and having 3-4 dialogues here and there. She falls in love with Raja just in a day after she meets him. She leaves her dreams to be with her Raja Mis-raa!! Jimmy Shergill’s character will draw your attention as his character is more believable and his acting skills are impressive too. Its high time now that he should get his due in Bollywood. Raj Babbar and Vidyut Jamwal have played their roles well.
This looks like a movie made to be in 100-crore club without any logic. It is a mindless masala movie in the name of entertainment. It forces the audiences to keep their brain aside if they want to relate to Bullet Raja.
Final Verdict: A miserable piece of work from Tigmanshu Dhulia
